From all of us involved with Mind's I to you and your family - may you have a wonderful, fulfilling, safe, and healthy 2007!
We'll see you at a show soon!
Although we're all excited for the final show in 2006 coming up this Saturday (December 23) at The Brick House, that excitement is tainted with a bit of sadness as this will be the final performance we'll have with our good friend Chad Goldbach on bass. Chad is leaving us after over 2 1/2 years to pursue another project closer to his home in Slippery Rock. While we are very sad to see him go, we wish Chad all the luck and success in the world with his new project. We will post more information about his new pursuit when we have it.
We'll see you this Saturday at the
Brick House ! Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Festive Kwanzaa, and Seasons Greetings to all!
When we decided to do this most recent site upgrade (from the green Flash one to this current design), we wanted to be able to quickly and easily post both new content as well as the tons of old stuff that we haven't had online for a while (or never posted at all). For those of you who have been visiting this site more lately, you've probably noticed that we've been posting a lot of photographs from our archives. Another change is that we have started a video repository on the music page:

We hope to have more video online later, including the video for Enough Is Enough that Rob Esposto put together a couple of years ago. (We have to digitize one of the old VHS tapes we have around... these things take time).
We have received questions about the whole "registration thing" on the new site. (1) Is it required to see anything? (2) Will my e-mail start getting a bunch of SPAM if I register? (3) What's in it for me?
The answers are (in order):
- No. Registration is not required to view any of the content on the site.
- No. Our website is run entirely by us - not through some third party who might be able to go through our database for their own sinister marketing purposes.
We hate SPAM, and we won't allow any information you entrust to us to fall into the hands of anyone who might try to profit from it. - If you register, you will be able to submit photos for us to post (submitting photos does not make them instantly available - we have to approve them first), post comments on articles, photos, and so forth, and finally receive e-mail updates from us (which we won't be sending very frequently). NOTE: We removed the registration requirement for posting to the guestbook on 12/6. You can now be a non-registered guest and sign the guestbook!
That's about it for the site update. Boring? Yes. Sorry...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us last night at the Day's Inn in Butler as we opened up for Bret Michaels. Over 1,000 people came to the show, the proceeds from which benefited the South Butler Volunteer Fire Department.

Homegrown rocker Bret Michaels (of the multi-platinum-selling band Poison) will be playing his first ever hometown gig on Wednesday November 22 at the Day's Inn on Rt. 8 in Butler.
